Please Note
Custom cakes require two weeks notice and Signature cakes require at least five days notice. While we can try our best to, and will, isolate your items from allergens, we cannot promise there will be no cross contamination because we are not an allergen-free facility.

Our minimum for wedding cake delivery is $800. That includes our smallest wedding cake — about 50 servings — and delivery. If you need something smaller than that, you can pick up your cake.

Our smallest cake for delivery is either a 2 tiered cake to feed 50 or a 3 tiered cake to feed 50. If you need something smaller than that, you can check out our "White Wedding" cake in our Cake Shop. You can purchase it directly from the website.
Anything smaller than 50 servings is not eligible for delivery and you would have to pick it up the day of, or the day before your wedding.

Our most popular order is a simple buttercream cake adorned with fresh flowers (provided by your florist) to feed about 100 people, with sheet cakes to supplement servings.

Our tiered cakes start at $11 per serving and go up based on intricacy of design. That starting price includes simple white buttercream designs. Our back-of-house sheet cakes, which are used to supplement additional servings, are $8 per serving.

After you inquire via our booking form, Sarah, the ECBG Wedding Manager, will contact you to schedule your tasting.
You can choose a tasting to-go, which can be picked up on Saturdays between 11am and 1pm at our bakery, or a tasting in-person, which takes place at the bakery Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings at 4, 5 and 6pm. Tastings in person usually take about 45 minutes.
Both the tasting to-go and the tasting in-person is $50.
There are also add-ons available for an additional cost, like custom flavors and dessert table items. Select your add-ons via our inquiry form.
Weddings

After your tasting and consultation, you will have a good idea of your flavor preferences, design preferences, and details. The team will send you your order form to confirm.
From there you can let us know any changes, questions, or concerns which we can address via email or additional phone consultation. Once you are ready to move forward we will send you an invoice to secure your date.
The nonrefundable 50% deposit is due within one week of confirmation and your remaining 50% balance will be due 1 month prior to your date. You are able to make any changes necessary up until 1 month out.
Sarah will take very good care of you throughout the whole process. We like to keep it easy and enjoyable!

We deliver within 10 miles of the bakery at 636 North Racine Avenue in Chicago from June to October.
We deliver within 30 miles of the bakery from November to May.

Yes! We offer gluten-free cakes, and a few select vegan options.

Yes! We love to accompany your tiered cake with a sprawling dessert table!
Items start at $5 each and we recommend two items per person. If you are offering a dessert table to your guests where they serve themselves, we estimate that you will need servings for 70% of your guest count as not everyone will pursue dessert.

Our custom cakes start at $200. After you fill in the inquiry form, our Custom Cake Manager, Kelly, will be in touch to confirm dates and give you a custom quote.

To ensure the most delicious texture and taste, cakes need to be kept at room temperature for at least 6 hours prior to cutting/eating. The cake will last in the fridge for one week.

Cakes will last for one week in the fridge and about a year in the freezer. Exact timing is subject to the moisture in your fridge and any harsh driving conditions when being transported.

When you come to the bakery to pick up your cake, it will be ready in a to-go box. We recommend holding the cake (in and out of the box) with two hands from the bottom, straight and flat. Do not push down on the top or sides of the cake box.
Note: Once the cake has left our bakery, it’s in your hands. We do not offer refunds for cakes damaged after pickup or delivery.

You can order your signature cake at shop.ecbgstudio.com. You’ll choose your cake design, then select your desired add-ons and customizations (like color, candles, cherries, etc.).

Our signature cakes are made-to-order and all orders must be placed in advance. Pickup or delivery is available Wednesday-Saturday, from 11am to 1pm. Mondays are the last day to order for weekend pickup or delivery (Friday-Saturday). Pickup is available at the ECBG Cake Studio at 636 N. Racine Ave. Delivery is available within a five mile radius of ECBG for $75.
When ordering delivery, please ensure someone is available to accept the cake during the delivery window of 11am - 1pm on your selected date. If no one is at the delivery address, we will leave the cake at the door. When filling out delivery address, please include the contact phone number for the person who will be accepting your delivery.

Yes, we do! We can make any cake gluten-free for an additional $20 charge.
