As 2025 comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on a truly unforgettable year at ECBG Cake Studio — one defined by growth, creativity, and the incredible couples and partners who trusted us with their celebrations.
This year, our team proudly designed and delivered 430 custom wedding cakes across Chicago and beyond. From timeless classics to modern, editorial designs, each cake reflected the personal style of our couples and the elevated experience we strive to create.

One of the highlights of the year was our editorial photoshoot at Chicago’s iconic Gene & Georgetti, captured beautifully by Berlez (formerly Aspen Avenue). With romantic gowns from Grace + Ivory and lush florals by SL Blooms, the shoot perfectly captured the refined yet modern direction of our brand. It also captured our love for indulgence, dress up, celebration, and playfulness!
Behind every cake is an incredible team. In 2025, we welcomed Courtney, Rachel, Lauren, and Maribel—each bringing talent, passion, and heart to our studio. Led by founder and owner Erin, as well as Kitchen Manager, Brittany Pryka, our team continues to grow while staying true to the artistry and attention to detail that define ECBG.
Looking Ahead…
Looking ahead, 2026 is already shaping up to be even sweeter, with a full calendar and exciting updates on the way. We’re thrilled to share that a refreshed website is launching in January, featuring improved Signature Cakes ordering functionality and a more elevated, editorial-style design. We are so excited to bring our customers an even more user friendly and customized experience!
